Our Thirty Second Birthday

Jessica and I’s 32nd birthday was on February 24th. We don’t look 32, but we sure feel it! The day before, my mother told Jessica that I was not going to be there that night. I had to work. Every year, we blow out candles together. Then the slices of cake and scoops of ice cream follow. She took it a lot better than I expected. But, I sensed anxiousness coming from her when she constantly asked about the cake and ice cream. The good news is that she still had a good birthday. She got a brand new Wii System, along with 2 video games. So, she’s one happy camper.

As for me, I went to get my nails done before heading to work. It was very relaxing. I was so tired when I came home. But I did manage to have a beer before going to bed. Fortunately, I was off the next two days! I slept in the following day (after my birthday) and went shopping at a beauty supply store on the 26th. I bought hair products (pictures below) for natural hair styling. The photo of me shows an example of natural hair styling.

I use this to keep my curls in tact. It works very well for me.
My favorite detangler! I use this to not only detangle my hair, but also dampen it for the styling glue to work.

Overall, both of us had a good birthday, even though we celebrated in different ways. I pray our 32nd year of life bring us many fond memories. God willingly, our 33rd birthday will be just as good.

  1. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site.

It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and
visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your
    theme? Excellent work!
