First Writing Days

When I was in the fourth or fifth grade, my mother bought me a diary. That’s when my love for writing was born. I’ve written about crushes on my favorite pop stars (Justin Timberlake for example), the ups and downs of school, etc. I’ve been writing sporadically up until 2013 I believe. Beginning in 2013, I’ve been writing frequently in hopes of relieving my depression. However, the thought of becoming a writer began pressing the back of my mind (still is). It happened so unexpectedly, I had no idea where to begin.

What did I do? I bought myself a very nice journal from Walmart and written in it daily. I have filled 5-6 journals over the past 2 years.

Then, in October of last year, my blog was born! I will explain how this idea came to mind on the next post. I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m having fun with it! It feels good to finally have a blog and I look forward to writing more.

What will I write about? Whatever is on my mind at this point.

My posts will also be short because I know that we all have lives. I know that as full time employee in a nursing home. I‘m also aware that many of us have short attention spans. We have a hard time paying attention to just one thing. But hey, no worries 🙂 It won’t be so short that the whole post is not written.

I have to go back to work in five minutes. So I unfortunately have to cut this short. Peace!!!!
