NEW SERIES

OH MY GOODNESS!

I have just come up with an interesting topic and decided to create a series.

Autistic people have a trait that can become hazardous if not managed: We stim.

Stimming is a behavior that consists of repetitive movements or actions. We all stim differently. It can be visible to the naked eye and not be visible at all. Some examples are rocking back and forth, hair pulling, spinning, even actions as dangerous as head banging.

I have decided to make a series about it because it’s not discussed as often as it should be.

I come up with 5 stims I experience on a daily basis. They will be discussed in 5 different posts.
